Unique opportunity for the Visegrad countries and their partners, Georgia and Moldova in angel investments

Business angel investors are people who are successful entrepreneurs, executives of large multinationals or otherwise experienced business actors, offering much more than just their own capital as they have experience on a global scale or have built an enterprise. They offer more than money: they offer smart money for start-ups.  Women/Business/Angels Association (WBA) with its partners has been building a unique model to present a useful, methodologically sound training for angels- offer hands-on practical trainings in a safe environment, where actual new enterprises can get to know potential business angels and can learn to ask proper questions with due diligence. The project also creates thought leadership in identifying, engaging and training business and angel networks.

The International Visegrad Fund supports the realisation of the 18-month project titled “Democratization and increased equal opportunity in innovation decision making”

WBA is the coordinator of the project. The partners are:

Business & Professional Women from the Czech Republic

Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies from Poland

Trust Women from Slovakia

Center for Development and Democracy from Georgia

Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) „Viitorul” from Moldova
